Node.js Interactive Europe: Interested in Speaking in Amsterdam this September?
Node.js Interactive 2016 Europe will explore the vast world of opportunity in The New Full Stack. In this video, Mikeal Rogers discussed this idea in detail Node.js Live Paris. If you are more of a reader than a viewer, the essence is that Node.js is powering innovation everywhere from the smallest IoT device, desktop, and browser to the data center.
The full stack for modern development is no longer just front end and back end development. Developers must contend with mobile, tablets, desktop applications, which are still running strong, and a whole new set of APIs and countless IoT devices. Or, as we say in our recent Node.js production survey, “The new full stack is a combination of everything from the browser to a toaster.”
Node.js Interactive brings together some of the world’s leading companies and most important open source projects to dive into this concept and the following tracks:
- Cloud and Back End
- Data and Artificial Intelligence
- Debugging, Tracing & Tooling
- IoT (Including Node.js being embedded into IoT devices)
- Node.js Core
- Security and Performance
If you have a good panel idea around one of these topics, workshop ideas, technical session, or a results-packed Node.js success story that fits into one of the above categories, please submit your ideas!
Need a bit of inspiration to get going? Here are a few of the most popular videos from Node.js Interactive 2015:
- Node.js at Netflix
- Make Printers Great Again,
- Home Automation with Node.js and RasperryPi
- Node.js at Uber
- The State of Electron
- Full list of sessions can be found here.
Based on input from the inaugural event and our community, this year Node.js Interactive will feature workshops, longer sessions, on-site childcare and diversity scholarships. We are particularly interested in topics for new developers, DevOps, enterprise and Web developers.
Remember, when you submit, be very clear about audience takeaways and your intended audience. For more information on what to think about before you submit, check out the guidelines.
This is also an event that encourages the Node.js community to participate and join, so if you have best practices around the community or are working with a specific working group, be sure to submit!
Node.js Foundation 2016 Europe Call for Participation ends soon May 13, 2016. Be sure to get your proposals in. Notifications go out by June 13, 2016.
If you would like to submit for Node.js Foundation 2016 North America, the Call for Participation closes on July 15, 2016.
We encourage first time speakers to submit for this event as well. Node.js Foundation events are an excellent way to get to know the community and share your ideas and the work that you are doing. Partial travel reimbursements are available based on demand and a case-by-case review.
